Tips on how to deal with the workload...

One of the most hard things to adapt to in high school is the workload, which gets tougher and tougher every year. Instead of going over tactics, many people resort to not making some homework, or at least making it less detailed. However, I hope I can give you an idea on how to make the workload a little lighter!

Care

The first step to making the workload easier for you, is to actually care about your schoolwork: this makes schoolwork a priority, thus making you do it first, instead of later.

Prioritise:

This is also why you should prioritise schoolwork: the most important subjects first, then the less important subjects.

Take breaks

I'd say taking breaks is almost just as important as the work you do, since you reevaluate your work and get a new neutral mind. Take breaks every half hour, or after every task you did to keep focused!

Plan ahead

When you plan ahead to do work, you'll probably find yourself with a lot more time on your hands! Besides that, things probably will not stress you as much as they would normally!

Work ahead

It's the same concept, but a different course of action: if there is homework, for example for the upcoming week in the weekend, try to finish it then, instead of waiting until the day before! It might take up some time, but at least you won't feel rushed.
