How to nail that presentation...
One of the most hard fears to deal with, is the fear of talking in front of a group. I'm not going to pretend that after you read a few tips and tricks this will be all over, but it sure might help to progress this fear.
Don't be too hard on yourself
The most important thing to think about when you're about to give a presentation is that there's 99,9% chance that you won't mess up! It doesn't matter how experienced you are as a public speaker, but if you gave you're best, you shouldn't be too hard on yourself: you did what you could.
Practice makes the master
Although it's not as appreciated as other tips, it's so important to know that if you practice your presentation a lot, doing it in front of other people makes it so much easier: you know your facts and you are confident.
Start in time
This might be a cliché, but if you need to do a presentation, starting a presentation in time is extremely important, since you need to build up practicing more and more, after you've done your research. Think about starting a week or 5 days to the deadline, so you have time to develop your presentation.
Use different sources and media
Using different sources and media makes your presentation much better. By using many different sources, your information will be reliable and by using different media such as images, videos and maybe even interacting quizzes your presentation will be much more interesting and entertaining for the public.
Focus on the important information
In presentations, it's easy to drift from one topic to another, so in order for your presentation to be as successful as you want it to be, you really need to focus on the topic you're doing, and avoid drifting as much as possible, since that way the presentation could become boring for the public.
